Plain answers about the data a move-out request creates: what we take, why, how long we keep it and how you switch things off. We collect the minimum a clean requires, and we never sell it.
Revised October 27, 2026
The gist
A move-out request gives us a few details you type in, a crew later photographs the empty apartment for your report, and our pages tally visits without cookies. All of it serves one purpose: pricing, arranging and documenting your clean. We never sell personal information, and none of it goes out for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data a request creates
Just what you send, plus what any visit produces automatically:
- Whatever you type into the price form: the name you go by, your email, a phone number if you choose to give one, your ZIP code, and details about the apartment, dates and access
- Photos you attach to a request, plus the report photos taken on clean day (by the crew, or by you for a self-shot report)
- The address you arrived from, including any utm tags and an ad click ID if it carried one
- A cookie-free tally of pages opened, with the approximate country and whether it was a phone or a computer
Report photos and their fingerprints
Report photos travel through our capture page straight to our server. We log the second each file lands and store a SHA-256 fingerprint of the original, so we can later demonstrate that a picture hasn’t been edited.
Shot lists cover rooms, never people or paperwork. Before a report link goes out, we strip location data from the copies inside it. Photos build your report and settle re-clean requests; any other use needs your written yes, and even then faces and addresses stay out.
What it’s used for
Quoting and arranging the clean you asked for, emailing you about that one booking, keeping proof of what we promised and what the crew delivered, and working out which ads and pages deserve our budget.
Visit counts, no cookies
Our visit counter is self-hosted here, cookie-free and blind to the rest of the web. These pages run no third-party pixels, live-chat widgets or session-replay tools, so no outside company gathers anything about you here.
Telling an ad network a request happened
If an ad of ours brought you here and you went on to ask for a price, our server may report to that ad network that a request happened. That tells us which ads pull their weight. The report is as thin as we can make it, and it stays unsent whenever your browser broadcasts Global Privacy Control, or once you’ve turned off ad measurement in the privacy choices section of this page.
Companies that handle it
Outside companies that run pieces of the service for us, each under a contract limiting how your data may be used; and, for a clean, the partner cleaning company doing the job, once you’ve accepted it. The current list:
- A web host with servers in the United States, which also keeps the report photos and their fingerprints
- An email sending service, for your price, the crew confirmation and your report
- Stripe, which sends the invoice after your clean and collects the payment
- A notification tool that pings our dispatcher when a move-out request lands
Keeping and deleting
Request records are kept up to 24 months, then erased or made anonymous. Original report photos and fingerprints are kept 24 months, then erased, or earlier if you ask: pick “My report or photos” on our contact form. After deletion we can no longer prove a photo matches its fingerprint.
Should we ever close, we email the whole list first, then wipe their personal details inside 30 days.
Your privacy choices
Want a copy of your data, a correction or a deletion? Choose “A copy, fix or deletion of my data” on our contact form. If your browser broadcasts Global Privacy Control, we read it as a standing no to any sale or sharing. A Do Not Track signal changes nothing beyond the protections already described here. The switch below handles ad measurement for this browser.
Turn off ad measurement
Off. Arrive from one of our ads and send a request, and our server may report that request to the ad network.
Global Privacy Control is switched on in this browser, which already keeps ad measurement off. Nothing to flip here.
This switch only affects the browser you’re using now. Anything else about your data goes through the contact form.
Adults only
Leases are signed by adults, and so is this service: we don’t knowingly collect data from kids under 16.
When this policy changes
The revised stamp up top moves with every edit. For edits that matter, we also send the list a note.
